Back to reality!

Yes, it was business as usual today. Not had chance really to chat to the class about the powercuts. It was literally straight into SPAG tests and an arithmetic assessment. Then straight into the longest nativity rehearsal of all time! Tomorrow looks equally as chokka- ks1 nativity first thing. Ks2 practice st after. Then at 12.45 the whole school is setting off to go to the theatre to watch a panto! No time to do all the other stuff we need to do!
Yesterday I finally decided to do some sewing! You might think it was an easy make but I reckon I was being highly ambitious making a cushion cover with a zip!
I carefully cut out the panel.
I pinned it and sewed it adding a zip at the bottom.
Here's the back of it.
Ta daaah! One cushion done. No one is allowed to sit against it!!

In other news.... I HAVE BULBS APPEARING! What is going on??!!
And new lupin plants a growing despite me pulling them out a few weeks back. The bloody delphs are at it too!

Right, stuff to do!

Lots of love from

PS. Saw this and keep laughing at it!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  4. The cushion is lovely - just perfect for this time of the year.
My bulbs are also coming up and have been for several weeks now. It's really weird!

Glad the school issues have been sorted out although the schedule sounds more than a little bit hairy! Hoping it all goes really well.

  5. Happy Anniversary. The panel is gorgeous and a cushion with a zip - I'm very impressed. KS2 don't do any Nativity or shows where Thomas is but every class has a party; his is Wednesday afternoon. There's such a lot the teachers have to fit in for Christmas, bet you'll all be glad when the holidays come round. Only one more week! xx
