Where did that go?

I'm talking about the six long glorious weeks I was having off! Vanished in a flash they have.
 I love this shot I took of the HMS Warrior with the sun just in the right position.
 Time for ( overpriced ) tea.
 I did not go up this.
 RIP Lord Nelson.
 An arty farts shot I took of the newest Navy warship through the windows of an aged Navy Warship.
 The Roman walls of Portchester Castle. I must tell you the hilarious tale about Eddie.
 Still on plan! Picnic lunch for a SWer.

    Welcome home - you have been missed! We didn't get to see HMS Warrior but we might go back there at some point - it's a very interesting area.

    Oh Rach, I live 5 mins walk from Portchester Castle, it would have been nice to meet. The spinnaker tower has wonderful views, I slid down the outside of the tower in 2013. I'm lucky we live in a beautiful and interesting part of the country. Yes the summer has disappeared far to quickly.

      Oh no, I can't believe it! It was a bit of a last minute holiday break though but I will bear it in mind, if we venture so far south again!

    Oh missed you, you were less than an hour away from me! Hope you had time to get to the Mary Rose and Roman Villa at Bignor (not that far from Bu**er Bognor). If you're ever in Portsmouth again, do go up the Spinnaker tower, it is well worth it and not scary at all height wise.
    Looking forward to the tale of Eddie.

      We did do The Mary Rose - more on that another post. Not the villa though. Ran out of time and it was SO HOT!
