But I'm just sewing up the cardigan I've knit for my friend's little girl. I've used self stripey/patterning wool - which as you know - BLOWS MY MIND! But I made the conscious effort to NOT pattern match and I like the charming patchworkesque effect.
However. I'm struggling to decide which sleeve to put where. What do you think? 
Option two is well erm, the other way round! 
I'm thinking option two but if you can be bothered to comment Id love to know your opinion! Not picked buttons yet!!
Option one is where the lighter pink dappled pattern is at the shoulder matching the lighter pink dappled boy on the right front.

Option 2 for me as I feel the patterny bit is a little too busy. But either way it's a beautiful cardigan. I still love that edging.

I would go for option 2. looks like that would be better balanced, but I am a bit OCD about balancing things!
