Hello from lockdown

Hello from my house to yours,

I hope all are well as can be in these strange and tricksy times. Our school is still open and I was at work all last week, but this week I am working from home as far as I can.
I will be back later with what I've been up to but I suspect it will strongly not be much different than as I was a hermit in training. I will say, that on my normally  solitary daily dog walks, never have I seen so many Bradley Wigging wannabees or people out doing their flipping Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
I have had to express deep sympathy to a lovely friend on the death of her father to this hideous virus, but on the whole those closest to me remain well and in good spirits and long may it continue.

Much love to you all out there
Rachel xx

  1. Glad to hear from you, we are safe so far here in Hampshire. Sunshine most days is helping.

  2. Hello, stranger. Really lovely to hear from you again. I'm extremely sorry to read of your friend and her dad - how devastating for her. However, I am glad that you and yours remain well. Hope it stays that way.

  3. I didn't realise some schools were still open!

Sorry to read about the loss of your friend's father, that is really sad indeed.

As you say, it seems everyone has suddenly taken up walking as never before!

    1. Hya, most schools have been so far to offer childcare for keyworkers and to care for the most vulnerable children in care etc.

  5. Hello there. Great to hear from you and good to know that you're all keeping well. I'm in total awe of people still finding things to blog about while in lock down - I'm definitely letting the side down lol. xx

    1. As like you Suzanne, staying at home and amusing myself is not a problem! My blog won't seem much different at all - posts just might happen more often!

  6. I hadn't realised you were posting again. You are still very much on my blog reading list but for some reason your posts have not been showing up on my feed. I will try unfollowing then following again to see if it makes a difference. It's good to know you and yours are keeping well, although I'm very sorry to read of your friends loss. X
