Can do so much tapestry and knitting
Can pop nextdoor and cuddle the new baby at will
Can bake so much
Can watch boxsets of quality American TV
Can have the tea ready to eat at 5.30pm
Can get all sorts of tidying done
Can go out for lunch at a pub
Can catch up with family
Can do crosswords and online jigsaws wily nily
Can be still and enjoy the absolute silence
Can eat lunch and enjoy it rather than quickly shovelling it down
Can just recharge

ReplyDeleteFor the first time ever we are not having the Easter Holidays at Easter! We are having Good Fri Easter Mon off then back at school for a week n a bit, THEN two glorious weeks off!
DeleteGoodness, that's very forward thinking of your school. What a cracking idea. Amy and Thomas finish 24th March. The holidays are too close together sometimes and I prefer a later Easter at least there's a chance the weather will be warmer. I'd definitely vote for a set Easter Holiday .... in April! xx

DeleteWow you have managed to pack so much into your half term holiday, that bread in your previous post looks delicious, I really must try and make some, there's nothing nicer than the smell of bread baking in the oven. Such a shame the half term is over already but you still have the weekend and Easter will be here before you know it. :) xx

Ditto all your lovely things to do at half term. I've had afternoon baths too! And watched a bit of TV after lunch, which I NEVER do normally. Sounds like your half term recharged the batteries perfectly. Head down for the run up to Easter now, eh? XX
