Only it looled like a bookcase and didn't have a working lift, but he spent ages making it and I loved it.

Popping over from last week's Britmums Best PostTheBoyandMehttp://www.theboyandme.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5101883877426552626.post-44361515799515088162012-11-04T06:48:38.422+00:002012-11-04T06:48:38.422+00:00I had a Sindy doll. If I undid the top snap I could shimmy it off her shoulders and make her look like a sexy Bavarian bar maid. Ha...HERE IS WHAT MY VICTIM HAD TO SAY.....

Diane

Hahahahahahaha.....this is just bloody brilliant Rachel. I totally totally forgive you and glad you had some enjoyment feeding William. Thinking about it I do remember one going missing but didn't dare tell mum or dad in case I got in trouble for not looking after my toys, (it prob cost them alot of money in those days) but now I know where it went. I feel sorry for you having to put up with me and my friends bossing you around, that was one good way to get back at me. Like I said earlier I forgive you and still love you my little cuz!!. It's just waffle!!! But we did all buy those dolls right? I didn't make it up?!!!

FRIEND ONE :- Ha yeah we did all buy those dolls. You are so witty in your writing thats what makes it so good :)
Rachel Flowers : - I liked you said that ! But not liked as in I agree!

FRIEND TWO:- So funny Rachel! I never ever owned a Sindy, I had a Pippa doll instead and she was about a quarter of the size. Surely that's classed as parental neglect? I was always jealous of Sindy owners.:(. Have you still got THE spoon Rachel? X

Rachel Flowers Do you remember The Millionaire's daughter's party????

FRIEND TWO :_ No, but I knew exactly who you meant in the blog. I'm going to get my daughter a Sindy and re-live my childhood through her. She can't be scarred for life like me. X

Rachel Flowers:- I loved Pippa's long silky hair and impossibly cute shoes!

FRIEND TWO:- And mine used to have a green sparkly off the shoulder dress. Used to spend hours on her hair, that's why I am the French plait queen :)

FRIEND THREE:- Brilliant blog Rachel, brings so many memories back, wanted that Sindy house too. I remember that bed Millionaire's Daughter had, an amazing cabin type one I'd never seen anything like it and she had a dark brown bathroom suite too, I remember thinking how rich they must be because of it.

I love the fact that I am still close with a lot of my childhood friends - thanks for increasing my laughter over this you three!!Rachel Flowershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17875808936389030446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5101883877426552626.post-82665818052967126182012-10-29T10:52:47.909+00:002012-10-29T10:52:47.909+00:00Rachel I was very spoiled I had a 4 story Sindy ho...Rachel I was very spoiled I had a 4 story Sindy house that my Dad built for me, it even had electric lights! When I grew out of it, it went to a little girl that lived up the road from us. The furniture and dolls went to my cousins. They in turn kept it for my children. When my youngest grew out of them they went to our neighbour's little girl. (She had to leave all her dolly stuff behind when they moved to Jozie from Cape Town so she was thrilled.) I liked both traditionally "girl" and "boy" toys. I had heaps of Dinkie cars and a train set. I loved making roads in the garden for my Dinkie cars. Your comments were very funny on that other blog BTW. PS. A women interested in finding out how much we influence our children's choices in what they play with based on gender, did a study with a troupe of wild chimpanzees. She simply left the toys in a pile and did not influence their play. She was surprised by the results the girl chimpanzees favoured the dolls and the boy chimpanzees favoured the cars etc. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15416821190060496527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5101883877426552626.post-61694538797835322252012-10-29T10:25:31.140+00:002012-10-29T10:25:31.140+00:00Oh.
