S P * M

Not the stuff England marches on. But lately I have been inundated with the stuff! A lot are very impressed with the layout of my design and are very much looking forward to seeing what I do next. Then I am kindly invited along to click their link to gambling sites. Never been on one in my life so you can only guess how very very tempting it is.

I love to comment on other people's blogs as some of you know but I cannot stand 'captcha' but I completely understand why it's there! But not on here! I love my kind supporters from the ahem 'man bits? make em bigger' sites. It is a great comfort to know there IS help out there should I need it!

Unfortunately I cannot copy and paste any of my comments in because I hit DELETE the minute they hit my email! I am grateful though because seeing '85 comments awaiting moderation' makes me feel uber popular.... for a millisecond! My most popular post for the s p a m is my Tarzan one! If you've not read it, go find it. It's a cracker! With photos!

Actually, I couldn't resist!! Look!

***ӏ delight in, leaԁ tο Ι found exactly ωhat I was looκing foг. Υοu've ended my 4 day lengthy hunt! God Bless you man. Have a nice day. Bye click here on Tuesday - Tinnitus & Tarzan

Hilarious!!

Crisp update - not one crisp has passed my lips for two weeks and three days now. I still think of them often and with fondness.

Knitting update - finished the little cardigan for the man in the shop's ( where my HG spends all our offsprings inheritance ) newest grandson. They sent us a photograph of the baby wearing it and it fits perfectly. :-)
Next project is started, a very posh little summer cardigan for Madeleine ( Harry's big sister ) pic below ( blogging on my phone )

Harry update - after a difficult for Lisa, 8 week wait, Harry's latest EUA was clear! Hooray! Everything seems stable ( I touched wood then ), no new seedling tumours and another 8 weeks till he goes again! He is just a little darling. Chatting away and always on the go. He will be going to Nursery for one morning a week after Easter! I can't believe it!

Cheerio for now folks

Crisps

It's day ( quickly counts up on fingers ) 9 and not one crisp has made it down my alimentary canal. NINE DAYS SANS LES CRISPS!

So, what am I doing to help with my quest for healthy eating without crisps. Oh crisps, how I love thee, you crisp, crunchy, salty potato disc of unctuous gorgeousness.
Ahem

I have been watching TV. ( My other favourite thing! ) and just what have I been watching? Well, Great British Menu where someone just fried a thin potato basket. NOM. Then The Fixer. Where the scary lady with impressive bosoms gets shouty and cross at hapless people who cry and get cross and eventually do what she says and they all live happily ever after. This week she is sorting out a FISH AND CHIP SHOP. Cue MANY close ups of golden inviting chips ( a close cousin of the crisp)

Clearly this is not enough punishment as I'm now mid cast off ( see pic ) agog at Greg < he's tweeted me a few times > Wallace and John < just look how he curls his massive gob around the spoon/fork because I can't STAND it > Torode cook a FRIED courgette flower. Do you know, I've not had a fried courgette flower for ages!* I love Masterchef. Its making me hungry! In my head, my crispometer is flashing dangerously! Its NINE DAYS EMPTY. Fortunately for my self imposed quest I have no crisps in. It's a good job. As far as I know there is no local branch of Crisps Anonymous operating round here.

The latest work is a little baby sweater- finished pics to follow!

In case you are wondering, my death row packet of crisps would have to be Walkers Cheese n Onion. I like my crisps nice and pale and lightly cooked. Brown crisps will not do. Am also partial to an onion ring but technically speaking , that's a snack!!
What's your flavour??!!!!

* never had one. No really, I haven't!

World Book Day

Am I dressing up? Am I shite. If I had my way, I'd spend WBD in bed reading books.
I am going in my usual clothes for a whole host of reasons.

1. I am there for the poor little souls who have parents who cannot be arsed to sort out a costume/who have no money to come up with a costume. Frankly, half the kids come in football strips or fancy dress outfits from Asda.
They are supposed to come as their favourite character from a book. Most of these children don't have books at home.
So for those children in uniform today - I am there so they do not feel isolated and any worse than they will do already.

2. *I* truly cannot be arsed nor do I have spare funds or time to search for a full on prostitute outfit. ( I am currently reading my Mother in Law's collection of Martina Cole books. Prostitution and East End Mafiaesque crime feature heavily. )

3. I have not had crisps for three days. Three whole days. Healthy Eating is RUBBISH.
Making me wear something uncomfortable and unfamiliar all day PLUS the crisps cold turkey withdrawal DTs could potentially end up with serious crime.

4. There are probably lots of reasons that I have forgotten about.

I have dressed up in the past for Fancy Dress parties and somewhere  in my blog is a photo of little old me dressed up as a Hot Dog - nothing to do with Martina Cole - but a full on mechanically recovered meat snack in a bun WITH mustard. Actually it was great. Hot Dog Costumes hide a multitude of sins.

What are you dressing you/your children up as today? Fancy Dress Faux Pas? I'd love to hear from you...
